About Bill

Executive Leader
Entrepreneur
Business Strategist

I’ve spent more than 35 years leading teams, building businesses, managing complex projects, solving problems, and creating experiences that people remember. My career has never followed a conventional path, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

My experience spans hospitality and resort management, government, civilian work supporting the U.S. military, entertainment, event production, construction, remodeling, project management, furniture and interior design, digital media, photography, marine services, luxury asset management, and entrepreneurship. I’ve had the opportunity to work across very different industries, each with its own challenges, expectations, and opportunities.

That diversity has shaped the way I approach business and leadership. I understand the creative side of developing an idea, the financial and operational discipline required to make it work, and the importance of bringing the right people together to execute it. Whether I’m overseeing a multimillion-dollar project, developing a new business, managing a complex operation, or creating an exceptional client experience, I believe the fundamentals remain the same: clear direction, accountability, strong relationships, and attention to detail.

I’m a hands-on leader who believes in leading by example, challenging conventional thinking, and taking responsibility for results. I value integrity, trust, consistency, and treating people well. I enjoy solving difficult problems, finding opportunities others may overlook, and building something that lasts. For me, success has always been about the people involved, the results we achieve, and the difference we make along the way.

How I Lead.

PEOPLE COME FIRST

Strong relationships are the foundation of every successful business. I believe in earning trust, treating people with respect, and building teams where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

CHALLENGE CONVENTIONAL THINKING.

I’ve never believed that the way something has always been done is necessarily the best way. I question assumptions, welcome new ideas, and look for opportunities to improve.

LEAD FROM THE FRONT.

Leadership means taking responsibility, making difficult decisions, and setting the example. I won’t ask someone to do something I’m unwilling to do myself.

RESULTS MATTER. SO DOES HOW WE GET THERE.

Good ideas require discipline, planning, financial responsibility, and execution. I believe lasting success comes from delivering results without compromising integrity or relationships.

A career built on Ideas, people & results.

Operational Transformation.

Not this

Managing the status quo.

Maintaining outdated processes, accepting inefficiencies, and measuring success by simply keeping things running isn’t leadership. Too often, organizations become comfortable with the way things have always been done, even when those methods no longer serve their employees, customers, or bottom line.

An operation can be busy without being productive, generate revenue without being profitable, and appear successful while falling short of its potential. Problems get managed instead of solved, opportunities go unexplored, and short-term fixes become permanent solutions.

The greatest risk isn’t always a failing operation. Sometimes it’s a successful one that has stopped asking how it could be better.

Outdated processesReactive managementMissed opportunitiesShort-term fixesWe’ve always done it this wayPoor communicationUnnecessary complexityAccepting mediocrity

But this

I don't just manage operations
I make them better.

When I take responsibility for an operation, I see opportunities to make it stronger. I start by listening, asking questions, understanding the financials, evaluating the systems, and getting to know the people who make everything work.

I challenge assumptions, identify inefficiencies, develop new opportunities, and bring people together around a clear direction. Whether it’s improving profitability, restructuring operations, introducing technology, strengthening customer experiences, or developing future leaders, I believe in practical solutions backed by measurable results.

My goal is to build an organization that performs better, has stronger teams, operates more efficiently, and continues to succeed long after I’ve moved on.

My approach

Understand the business.
Empower the people.
Build something better.

Business Operations / Organizational Growth / Financial Performance / Team Development / Strategic Planning / Operational Transformation / Lasting Results

Lasting improvement doesn’t come from issuing directives or making changes for the sake of change. It comes from understanding the business, earning the trust of the people doing the work, and giving them the tools, direction, and confidence to succeed.

I believe in setting clear expectations, measuring what matters, removing unnecessary obstacles, and holding myself to the same standards I expect from others. The best results come when people understand where we’re going, believe in what we’re building, and take ownership of making it happen.

Your vision.
My commitment to making it happen.

I Don’t Need to Own the Vision to Believe in It.

01

Vision

I believe successful leadership begins with understanding the vision, priorities, and expectations of the people responsible for an organization. Before proposing changes or setting direction, I want to understand what they’re trying to accomplish, why it matters, and what success looks like to them.

02

Alignment

Bringing People and Priorities Together

A vision only works when the people responsible for delivering it understand and believe in the direction. I focus on building trust, creating clear expectations, aligning resources, and developing teams that understand their responsibilities and how their contributions support the larger mission.

03

Execution

Ideas and strategies mean little without execution. I bring the operational experience, financial discipline, problem-solving ability, and hands-on leadership necessary to turn plans into results. My goal is to deliver on the organization’s priorities while building the people and systems needed for long-term success.

Nearly

U.S. Navy Civilian Career

Leadership in service of a larger mission.

For nearly 25 years, I served as a civilian leader supporting the United States Navy, Army, and Marine Corps, progressing from frontline operations to senior regional and executive leadership.

My career took me across the United States and overseas, leading diverse operations in hospitality, recreation, facilities, special events, workforce management, and military quality-of-life programs. My responsibilities expanded to include leadership across 18 locations supporting more than 4,600 employees, along with direct operational responsibility for nearly 400 employees, over $40 million in assets, and operations generating more than $15 million in annual revenue.

Throughout those years, I was trusted to develop new programs, transform underperforming operations, improve financial performance, strengthen organizations, and advise senior executives and Flag Officers. I learned to navigate complex organizational structures, challenge conventional thinking, and turn leadership priorities into measurable results.

Beyond the titles, budgets, and responsibilities, what I value most are the people I worked alongside and the leaders I helped develop. I learned that the strongest organizations are built on trust, accountability, clear expectations, and giving people the confidence to make decisions. Some of my proudest accomplishments came from watching employees grow into successful leaders and seeing operations continue to improve long after my direct involvement ended. To me, that’s one of the true measures of leadership.

Most importantly, my military civilian career taught me that effective leadership isn’t always about setting the vision. It’s about understanding the mission, bringing people and resources together, and taking responsibility for making it happen. That’s a principle I carry into every organization I serve.

FROM EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP.
TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

My nearly 25 years in military civilian leadership gave me the experience, discipline, and operational perspective that I brought into building businesses of my own. Entrepreneurship gave me the freedom to explore new ideas, recognize opportunities, and create something from the ground up.

It also gave me a deeper appreciation for the risks business owners take, the decisions they face, and the responsibility that comes with turning a vision into a successful, sustainable operation.

Brands. Multiple industries.

From marine services and hospitality to digital media, entertainment, education, and lifestyle experiences, I’ve developed 12 brands and business ventures across multiple industries.

Each began with an idea, an unmet need, or an opportunity to approach something differently. Some grew into established businesses, while others became specialized services or new concepts.

Together, they reflect my curiosity, creativity, willingness to take calculated risks, and ability to turn ideas into working businesses and meaningful customer experiences.

Client relationship growth.

Some of my most valuable client relationships began with a single service worth $500 or less and grew into more than $100,000 in cumulative revenue. That growth didn’t come from simply selling more services. It came from understanding clients, anticipating their changing needs, earning their trust, and consistently delivering on commitments.

Over time, those relationships created opportunities to introduce new services, expand into other areas of their lives and businesses, and develop lasting partnerships. To me, that’s the real value of relationship-driven business development.

There's more to life than business.

I’ve spent much of my life working, building businesses, and taking on new challenges. I enjoy what I do, but I’ve also learned that a successful career is only one part of a life well lived.

Outside of business, I enjoy being on the water, traveling, meeting people, sharing experiences, and getting involved in the community. I’m drawn to organizations and causes where I can contribute my time, experience, creativity, and connections to something worthwhile.

Whether it’s supporting a local nonprofit, helping bring a fundraising event to life, mentoring someone, or simply bringing people together for a memorable experience, I enjoy being involved and making things happen.

I’ve worked hard throughout my career, and I still have plenty of ambitions. But I also believe in enjoying the journey, making time for the people who matter, and remembering why we’re working so hard in the first place.

Different roles.
One consistent approach.

A Career Built on Leadership, Innovation, and Turning Opportunities Into Measurable Results.

Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead organizations, develop businesses, transform operations, and create experiences across the military, hospitality, recreation, entertainment, and private sectors.

From managing complex regional operations and leading international teams to launching new ventures and revitalizing existing businesses, each assignment brought different challenges and opportunities.

What connects them isn’t a particular industry or job title. It’s my approach to leadership: understanding the bigger picture, bringing people together, challenging conventional thinking, and turning ideas into action.

These are a few of the experiences that helped shape the leader and entrepreneur I am today.

Don't just take my word for it.
Hear from those I've worked for.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with leaders who challenged me, trusted me, and helped shape the professional I am today. Their words offer an independent perspective on my leadership, creativity, commitment, and the results we’ve achieved together.
