A car that is driven twice a year ages differently from one driven twice a week. Fuel degrades, tyres flat-spot, batteries sulphate and brake discs take on surface corrosion in a humid garage.
None of this is prevented by simply covering the car. It is prevented by a routine: conditioned charge, correct pressures, periodic running to temperature, and a climate that is actually controlled rather than merely enclosed.
